So what do think about them? We finally get to see what they're capable of. I think they're pretty cool, and real dangerous. They're gonna be one heck of a challenge to get through in the game. I got a question though. When Snake hides and the MGs crush that box full of watermelons, they get "mad" and they release some kind of green liquid from their... ass. WTF is up with that?

to me, it looked more like a gas than a liquid...
take from that what you will.

Yeah, looked like they took a piss, then took off. It was probably some stuff that helps them jump those long distances.

Remember when the MG crashes through the wall and finds Snake? Because of the new physics engine that Kojima's team developed, each time you see that scene, the wall breaks differently! How cool is that?!

That sounds like the new technology they're using in the upcoming unnamed Indiana Jones title. In a recent demo, Indy was shown punching a foe, who fell backwards into a wooden door, splintering it. The next time it was shown, the results were the same except the door splintered much more severely. Another demonstration showed Indy on top of a trolly car in San Francisco fighting people; again the results were the same but how each baddy met his fate was different, some were knocked off and died while in the next demonstration they were ran over by the trolley as well.
That stuff the Gekkou's discharge seems to be some sort of organic matter. Seeing how these Metal Gear's are partly organic, it might be "excreting" some sort of biological waste product depleted by the organic muscle-like epidermis.
