Solidus was NOT part of the "Les Ifantes Terribles" project! I can prove it too. The project took place in 1972. Solidus was in office in 2005. To be president you have to be at least 35 years old. For Solidus to have taken office in 2004 he would have been 32. That's too young. Go here for the whole presidency rules www.worldbook.com/wc/popup?path=features/presidents&page=html/intro.htm&direct=yes The only way that he could have been in office was if he was born in 1969 at the latest. This leads to a conclusion, Solidus isn't a clone of Big Boss but his sexually concieved son! His mother? Isn't it obvious? Eva.

Dude, we're talking about a guy here who IS the third son, and maybe his age wasn't right, but he was chosen by the Patriots to become President. Why do you think he looks so old in MGS2? Because the Patriots made him look like that.
And if he was the real son of Big Boss, he wouldn't be killed of so easy, he would have a bigger part in the story.

Or a more logical explanation, Kojima made a mistake. It's not different than Big Boss' age flaw. In MGS2 Liquid said that Big Boss was in his late 50's when they created his copies. That's not possible since the process took place in 1972, only 8 years after Snake Eater. And he does not look late 40's in MGS3.

Whoops, error on my part. Eva couldn't have been mother. AG has a point. Kojima messes up sometimes. But still, 1972 makes a lot of diffrence. Also, think about this: Solidus is the perfect mixture of Solid and Liquid. There for Solidus was a mixture of two people.

Presidency rules matter nothing to The Patriots. As long as he seems to be a certain age, you can't think the Patriots are stupid enough to not have falsified identification documents.
And what's this stuff about the Patriots making Solidus look as old as he does? Don't you mean his genetics make him look the way he does?

THEY created the rules. THEY knew that it takes a certain amount of time to fully train a president.

THEY created the rules. THEY knew that it takes a certain amount of time to fully train a president. So they had to change them for Solidus.

Evevn though they could do that, they would still have to train him. His lies, actions, minor pr, etc.

Masterofsnake discovered another flaw in Hideo Kojima's masterpiece series. *applause* But officially Solidus is the third son of the Les Enfants Terribles project.

May I suggest compiling a list of all the Metal Gear cannon flaws. Let's start a thread on that and compile a full list.
