The War in MGS4.

So, from what we’ve seen, who is who? The Arab-looking folk seems more like mercenaries from Liquid’s Outer Heaven. The high-tech soldiers and Gekkous are probably the Patriots’ troops. What do you think?

Probably just various merrcs from around the world being hired to do what they do best for either side.

But who are the factions at war? Is it just Liquid vs Patriots?

Yeah. Probably. Maybe it's like so that all the bad guys are like Liquids troops (they don't necessary know that they are working for Liquid, they think they're just part of some merc group) and then Snake gets sent in by the patriots to kill Liquid. I mean, the patriots somehow trick Snake into going in. Maybe something like that.

Didnt Kokim say some time ago that there was gonna be more than one enemy? I dont know, something like that.

So... Ocelot is not working with the Partiots at all anymore? It seems Liquid has more, if not total, control over Ocelot now and working on his own. I was kinda hoping that Snake would go after the Patriots, cause thats how MGS2 ended, but now it looks like Liquid is his main objective.

Well, Roy Campbell is in the mix here, it's probably a mission that requires saving the f...cking world. I mean in every game, you save the world by preventing a NUCLEAR STRIKE! Liquid is probably going to plan to do something world threating, Snake would probably go after that first. The Patriots aren't out to destroy the world, only just control it.

I wonder why they would come and get Snake for that? Look at him, he's a fossil! Why would they intrust the hope of the world to an old man?

He was going for Liquid and The Patriots at the end.

i'm thinking ocelot isn't really out of control of his own body, but is faking it to use liquid to further his plans with the patriots. i am somewhat of an ocelot fanboy.

Yeah, I dont think Liquid has fully taken over Ocelot. That'd mean we wouldnt see much of Ocelot, just his body lol. He has always been triple-crossing people, and I wont be surprised if he pulls another on again.

Here's an interesting theroy, what if Ocelot can manipulate his voice to be like liquids so he can manipulate people even better?
