When Master Miller reveals himself to be Liquid in MGS, what was the debate that went on by fans and players? Some sites said that the debate is simmilar to the John Turner-Imposter thing from Snake's Revenge.
More Detail on SR: In Snake's Revenge, when Snake finally rescues John Turner, we find out that he is an imposter or something like that. After he dies, we do not really know whether he was the real John or not because if he wasn't, where would be John Turner? Plus, after you defeat the "imposter", your other friend says he's sorry about John.
Like this, people say there is speculation going on toward the Master Miller dead-Liquid Impostering. What is this arguement on in detail?

Replay MGS, or even TTS. When Liquid reveals himself as an imposter, right after, he says that Master Miller was found dead in his apartment three days before the mission started. Nuff said.

OF COURSE! I KNOW THAT ALREADY!! What I meant was: what exactly was the controversy going on? What was the contoversy on this part of the game about? What arguement was being discussed regarding Master Miller's dead?

There was none. I can't see how controversy would be created over a situation in which all questions have been answered.
And as for Snake's Revenge, since it isn't part of the continuity, and a terrible game to begin with, I can't see why it's relevant to the topic.

What arguement was being discussed regarding Master Miller's dead? Yeah, thats my point, and DK answered it. There isn't any controversy on the topic. The real Master Miller died (confirmed in MGS), and Liquid posed as him. How can a controversy start over that? And Snake's Revenge actually inspired Kojima to make MG2: SS.

There was a controversy? Bewtween who? You and your buds?
Liquid posed as McDonnel Miller. The real Miller was dead by the time of Shadow Moses. How did he die? Who knows? Natural causes? Murder? I don't know.

liquid said that in order for snake to complete his mission with campbell and everyone tricking him they needed someone to be on his "side" so he coaxed him along to finish the mission. thas why liquid posed as miller.
