So anyone else worried about the lip syncing in the cutscenes? The game is made in Jap, so the lip syncing will be fit perfectly to that language, but what about when it's translated into English? Anybody seen FF7: AC? Lines were changed around to fit the lip syncing, which is something I, and many fans, disliked. In previous games, like MGS3, there were some scenes where the lip syncing was a little off, but you couldnt tell right away, so it didnt bother me. But now, with the new graphics, the way the lips move when something is said seems more realistic, so for the English version they're probably change some words or even whole lines from the original script. Im not sure if Im too happy about that. Thoughts?

I've been getting anxious to see what the next gen can do for those kinds of game...so far the current gen game I have seen to pull off the lip problem is Ninja Gaiden..both venisons.
Both Jap and English lip sync were on time...as for the MGS games...I think they didn't have time to fix the lip sync into English, whatever the coding and script commands lines are. Maybe...just maybe the animators in the English konami department would do this before it ships out. If not....wait for the MGS4 S.E. to come out.

Im fairly sure the technology now can automaticly do the lip syncing. Especially since its the PS3.

Well, they did develope and use a technology for and in MGS2 so they didn't have to do the lip synch in the Codec. The computer would hear the actors words and then move the mouth of the character models. But then the American actors had to fit their speaking somewhat to the lips of the characters.
