Metal Gear Saga DVD is kinda like a very short "documaentary" about the, well, saga like it says. From MG to MGS3. It just shows short summaries of the games, and trailers for MGS4 and MGS3:S. Not really worth it.
And the third disc from MGS3:S contains the cutscenes from the game put together to make it look like a movie. And it was only available as a limited edition, meaning they dont sell those anymore. Probably at eBay you can find it.

The Metal Gear Saga also clears up some mist on the series, like the July 7th/12th release dispute.
Welcome back.

Actually it does not. The DVD only states that Metal Gear 1 came out in 1987, without a specific date. The proof lies in literature like Metal Gear Solid Naked and Countdown to MGS3. BTW, the Saga DVD also goofed the date given to the events of MG1, stating it was 1999. Yet the timeline that was flashing said 1994-95. Someone wasn't paying attention.
