I was just wondering who all collects the Metal Gear games and memorabilia, a pic or just a list is what I was thinking. I started this mainly just to see what all kinda stuff is out there and what everyone has because I'm really excited about my new Metal Gear purchase, I got Snake's Revenge for $13.90 on ebay and its in mint condition with the box and styrofoam and all.
I'm trying to collect all the American releases of the Metal Gear games then I will probably try either all the Japanese or the European releases.
So far my collection is:
Metal Gear - NES (Mint)
Snake's Revenge - NES (Mint)
Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel - Gameboy Color (Missing the Box so I'm going to have to re-buy it eventually)
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - PS2 (Mint)(Greatest Hits)
The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 - PS2 (Mint)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - PS2 (Mint)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - PS2 (Mint)

You, clearly, are not aware of AG's collection. All the Todd Macfarlane figurine, special figures with the stands, Kubricks, rare 5-6 inch tall Snake figurines, art books, Strategy Guides, (for collection purposes)original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 boxes, and finally going to MG1, MG2, Snakes Revenge, Ghost Babel (I traded him the game for a Transformers PS game), Metal Gear Solid, Integral import for PS (I forget if he had it)MGS2, MGS3, MGS3: S Special edition, Twin Snakes.
Me, I don't have much. I just have some figurines from MGS, MGS2, and all the games. Not mint condition.....

Not really into the collecting side myself, but some of the models look pretty good, unfortunately will need a credit card to get some (would need to get off Ebay) , which I don't have.

no I wasn't trying to turn this into a "Metal Gear pissing contest thread" or whatever I just knew some people had to collect the games and I just was wondering what kinds of stuff people had. Like I knew AG had this huge collection because I've read about it a couple of times (like when he bought the Metal Gear book is the last time I can think of it being mentioned) and knew he had figures and other stuff, I on the other hand am stricktly collecting just the games themselves. It interests me to see others collections because different people go about it differently and I'm sorry if this was a pointless thread I wasn't aware that no one else on here actually collected the stuff I assumed there must have been others that collected it. Also I was really happy with my snakes revenge find and just kinda wanted to state my happiness about that but didn't want to make 2 threads so I condensed them into 1.

When I get home from work today, I'll take some snapshots of my collection and put it up. Just be ready to wet your pants everyone, that is if you are wearing any at the time. ;D
