Does anyone recall the MGS1 demo disk? I wasn't a gamer back then so I don't have it and thiniking of finding it.
Did it come with another game? When did it come out? How far into the game does the demo last?

My friend had the demo disk, and it came from some magazine with a bunch of other demos on it. I used to play it at his house even after I had the full version of the game for quite a while (he had awesome headphones to play it on, that's why.) I think it was out in mid '97. It wasn't very long, it lasted until you got to the heliport.

See that's the one I have. It's a PlayStation demo disk with MGS lasting through the Dock and Heliport.
But I've also heard about just the MGS demo that lasted up to the Darpa Chief.

See that's the one I have. It's a PlayStation demo disk with MGS lasting through the Dock and Heliport. But I've also heard about just the MGS demo that lasted up to the Darpa Chief. I've played that one. The demo disc was advertized as containing some of the best Playstation games up to that point. I don't know where it came from, was it a magazine or from somewhere else.
