I have three questions for ya:
1) Do you think it's possible there won't be any corridors in MGS4?
2) Do you think there will be corridors in MGS4?
3) Do you want corridors in MGS4 or not?
What I mean with corridors is passages that look bigger than they really are and have loading times between each other. MGS2 had them, and though many thought MGS3 wouldn't have them because of the jungle theme, it had them.

Well loading time is never really welcome. The question is if the PS3 would be powerful enough to do without them. I can't say they bother me, and Kojima puts them in a descent manner.

I think the next generation should be one without visible loading times. The Jak & Daxter series for PS2 doesn't have any loading times that pauses the game. I think that with the memory capacity of PS3, even a game as good looking and as big as MGS4 can be made without interrupting loading times. Jak 3 is one of the best looking games on the PS2, and you can't see any loading times there.

I personally dont mind the "corridors" or whatever you want to call them. It makes the game easier to identify certan locations. Like lets say you need to grab the PSG1 from Shell 1 Strut B or whatever (i havnt played MGS2 in like over a year).

Well, we saw some building action with the duck/back-crawl/jumpout-shot/active camouflage/ chances are we are probably gonna see some building action.

I've also seen a screenshot that wasn't shown in the video of Snake sneaking up on a mid-eastern clothed man in an access tunnel. It had a door in it that looked like it led into an underground bunker. Resembled one of those WWII european bunkers that were framed with wood and had the lighting and wires strung throughout from beams.

Whoa, I don't mean corridor as in corridor. I mean corridor like in different areas with loading times in between each.
But thanks for the info about the bunker, sounds cool.

Kojima stated that every building/area can be entered, a free roaming world. This is the Playstation 3 we are talking about. Of course there aren't any loading times. Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to be so huge, you can't have a corridor on every small area you enter or leave. Kojima probably figured something out to solve this. I guess loading times will only pop up when you walk from a city to another. Not like in Metal Gear Solid 3 where you walked a few miles and the next loading screen would show. BTW, can you share your awesome screenshot Mad Jackyl?

Whoa, I don't mean corridor as in corridor. I mean corridor like in different areas with loading times in between each. Like in Half Life 1 and 2? Those loading times? I just finish watching Jacky Brown and that pic of Snake holding a AK-47 (if that's not it someone correct me please) and saying that line... Snake:...Aaahhh AK-47, where you have to absolutely and positively have to kill every motha fu*ka in the room!
