Let's discuss these.
Thus far there are 4 portable Metal Gear games:
Metal Gear Ghost Babel Metal Gear Acid Metal Gear Acid 2 Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
Ghost Babel.
I know there are many that like this game, but I do believe that you like it for the wrong reasons. The game is essentially Metal Gear Solid in a 2D format. The character designs are very similar. The year is 2000 and what does this game offer to the series? What does it give that MG2 and MGS have not already? Exactly. Mixed with bright Nintendo colors, lack of originality, and it’s place outside the main timeline Ghost Babel fails to deliver.
Acid and Acid 2.
The exact opposite of Ghost Babel. This one offers a lot of new. But the problem is that it offers the wrong things. Regardless of how advanced the gameplay system is, it is NOT Metal Gear. Acid is based on the whole Ugio and Pokemon craze and fails to live up to the Metal Gear formula.
Portable Ops.
Third time is the charm. The game is cannon. The gameplay is more like Metal Gear with a new touch of squad control. The cutscenes are fresh and original in a comic book style. I believe that this will be the first Portable Metal Gear game that will actually live up the series.

I heard David Hayter commented that Oprtable Ops has the best script out of all the MGS games he'd done. o__O

Better than MGS1, 2, and 3! Wow! That's impressive! Now we're talking an actual Portable Metal Gear installment.

I need to confirm that though. I just heard that from someone else. Still waiting for that person to give me some proof.

Well, it still would be his opinion though. But hey, that's a great thing to look forward to.
