The Metal Gear Solid Drama CD is a Japanese radio drama continuation of Metal Gear Solid. Directed by Shuyo Murata and written by Motosada Mori, it aired from 1998 to 1999 on Konami's CLUB db program to a total of 18 installments. The entire series was released on two separate CDs. Sadly, the radio drama is not considered part of the mainstream Metal Gear canon! But it's still fun to read. The story is set after the events of Shadow Moses, Solid Snake, Meryl Silverburgh, Roy Campbell and Mei Ling pursue missions in hostile third world nations under FOXHOUND. Characters not seen in Metal Gear Solid are introduced, such as Sgt. Allen Iishiba, a Delta Force operative who assists Snake and Meryl; Col. Mark Cortez, an old friend of Campbell who commands the fictional Esterian Special Forces; and Capt. Sergei Ivanovich, a former war buddy of Revolver Ocelot. The Metal Gear Solid Drama CD has been fully translated by Johnny Undaunted, a member of the JunkerHQ forum. You can find his post HERE. I'm going to create a simple .ZIP file which will include a better version of the the full transcript. Since there are still a lot of small typos. I'll also include every released artwork of the MGS Drama CD. But for now, enjoy reading it at JunkerHQ.

Whoa, great find Otty, and thanks for posting it! I've heard of this way back and I think I read some translation a couple of years ago.
Remember that Mori worked as a SWAT operative in Japan and in the Special Forces too I believe. Perhaps those stories are inspired by his experiences? ;D
