In just a couple of days I will have my PSP! I'm thinking now about which games I should by and in what order. Portable Ops isn't out here yet, so I'll buy at least one game before I buy that. My boss at work gave me two PSP-games as early Christmas gifts (The Silent Hill Experience and MotoGP). Now, games I will buy sooner or later are Daxter and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Especially the last one I'm really interested in playing. But, as the name of this thread implies, am curious about Metal Gear Ac!d 1 and 2. How are they? I know they're not Metal Gear Solid, but I think I'd enjoy some kind of strategy game, and the Ac!ds looks good I think. You guys who have either 1 or 2, could you drop some lines about the games? Cons and Pros would be great. Merry Christmas!

I don't have either one, nor do I plan on getting them. Before I got my PSP, Black Snake let me try Metal Gear Acid on his. Let me tell you something, it's one of the most annoying games ever. It's like board game!!! You use cards to move and to fire (no aiming, just fire!!! So it looks VERY cheesy!).
My advise, don't bother. I personally did not enjoy the style. If you like strategy games (or a fan of Pokemon/YuGio) you may like it. For me... nah.

Truth to be told, I don't like games like Final Fantasy when the fighting is all turn based. But on a PSP a system like that might actually work, since I might have to look up once in a whike if I'm on the bus for example. Well, we'll see.

I think that if you like the typical Metal Gear formula you won't like these games. I like to be able to fully control what I'm doing. Acid completely lacks realism, and for me that's the best part about Metal Gear.
I think Econs has it.
