A tough call:
Big Boss is the protagonist of MGS3 and MPO. He is also the antoginist of MG and MG2.
Solid Snake is the protagonist of MG, MG2, MGS, and MGS4. He is also the co-protagonist of MGS2.
Solid Snake starred in more games but Big Boss has more depth. Tough call. This reminds me a lot about Star Wars. For the logest time people thought that Luke was the main character, until the first 3 movies came out. Then Vader/Anakin were revealed to be the main character all along.
Could this be true with Metal Gear as well? What have you to say on this?
