Ridiculous MGS Criticisms You've Seen

I was at a general games forum today and came across a criticism about MGS3, which I found the most ridiculous criticism I've read about the game. Post any ridiculous MGS criticisms you've heard here and don't limit the criticism to just MGS3. I'll get us started.

Jesus, you need a codec call to tell you "Hey Snake, you're slowly sinking in case you hadn't noticed. Get out of there!"?

Pointless? I've never seen a movie or even another game that rivals it's anti-war messages and at the same time incorporates so many observations about life and the future as our beloved series.

I personally don't let it bother me. I, and I'm sure most people here, know what LEGITIMATE flaws Metal Gear titles have. So stupid things like that aren't even worth reading.

Though I will point out my all time favorite:

"I didn't like the game because it was too story-oriented".

Well, everything negative? ;D No, but there are some really stupid things being said about it. Don't have an example right now though.
