I've been meaning to buy Acid and Acid 2, but since I have yet to buy Digital Graphic Novel and Portable Ops, and their respective sequels coming soon, I don't think I will.
Besides, I'm not that big of a fan of turn based games. Why I have wanted to buy the Acids is because they've gotten some praise here and there for being kind of deep and fun. The number one reason though has always been the boobs of the female characters. But I don't know if that's really enough for me to spend money on them.

Truthuflly, the gameplay is annoying if you are a hardcore MG fan. At least it was for me.
PSP will have 2 MPOs and 2 Digital Novels. That's pleanty of Cannon material. Unless you really wanna burn some money you may wanna stay away from the Acids. Just my thoughts.

In reality, you may end up playing the game maybe ONCE, and that's assuming you even finish your first run. Not really a good investment.
Besides, you should be all over Portable Ops. That's quality cannon material that can not be ignored.

What's the European release on it? And what are the confirmed additions? April something. I don't know what are going to be the extras, but on the other hand, I don't exactly know what's in the game to begin with. Doubt it will be anything that changes the experience though. |

AC!D and AC!D2 are good games.
Not as good as Portable Opps and any other real MG game.
If you have money to blow then get AC!D2, Because its a much better than AC!D1 and the stories aren't linked so you don't have to worry about playing the sequel first.
But you should really wait one month for the European release of Portable Opps.

Trust me, if you wait to get the Acids afterwords, you won't even finish your first run though them. MPO is too good. If you do get the Acids, go now since you are itching for the MG on the PSP. But MPO will fix that itch in full and your Acids will just collect dust.
