The only problem is that DVD's havnt been out all that long so now everyones gonna have to buy Blu-Ray players which like when DVD players first came out arnt gonna be cheap.

Everybody in the future will be using this! ;D Our kids will use this and won't even know what a CD or a DVD was.
Maybe they will put some of this technology in MG4 to.

Dont expect it in 2005 though. When High Definition TV becomes compusolary then it will come. I heard it becomes compulsolary in 2007 not sure on that. UPDATE: www.blu-ray.com/faq/#2.3Copy that into your web browser (if i make a hyperlink it cuts out half the adress for some odd reason) The layer of protection on a DVD is 0.6mm The layer of Protection on a BD(blu-ray disc) is 0.1mm Thats why if you looked at the disc's you will notice they are almost clear. The protection layer is a serious problem if anything the layer should be thicker not thinner! |

DVDs have actually been around commercially for about 9 years now. And I doubt Blu-Ray will be showing up commercially for at least 3 years. |
