For those who don't know, BitTorrent is a badass file-sharing system. Like Kazaa, except it doesn't suck.

My favorite is BitLord. Azureus is great, but BitLord has a cleaner interface, and a search utility built in so you can look for other torrent right from the program.

Wow thats handy because whenever i look for torrent websites on google i end up at some porn filled website with like animal porn torrents.

I use ABC and it's damn nice I tell you. Azureus is cool because it has the option to choose what you download and what you don't, usefull with those 10 programs in one package things. I use a few trackers wich require registration, like torrentleech. BitTorrent is a friend.

The best thing about azureus is how you can see who's downloading from you and who your downlading from and how much of that file they have eg. your downloading from some random who only has 78% of the file and you already have 70% so you know that your gonna need more seeds.

BitLord does al of that as well. I love getting to choose which files I want. But i usually just download the whole damn thing anyway.

I used to use ABC, then switched to Azureus, but since I could never figure out the whole open/closed port thing, when they "upgraded" to some remote system or whatever I couldn't use it anymore, then I went back to ABC. I couldn't figure it out before, but you can choose what to download with ABC - doubleclick the torrent name, go to file info, and there's a list of all the files. right-click on the offending file and check "download never" or "later" if you don't want it, or if you want certain ones first.

I see.. I haven't updated mine yet as I've heard it has had some crashing issues, but I guess it's fixed already.
