I remember there was a few folks here that watched WWE.
So, what do you guys think about SummerSlam and the Hulk Hogan vs Shawn Michaels match?

I can still remember how Shawn Michaels would do does dances when he would enter the ring. He wasn't really the greatest in my eye's, Hogan will whoop his ass.

My friend is going to that Summerslam thing coming up. We live just outside of D.C. and Summerslam is going to be in D.C., isn't it? I think it's at the MCI Center. He's about the last person you'd think would be big into WWE. He plays in like two bands, is covered and tattoos, drinks like a fish...wait, that sounds just like some of the people you see at those things. Maybe he's FIRST person you'd think would be big into WWE. He's all psyched for the Hogan - Michaels match. When he told me they were fighting, I kind of kidded with him, like "Who do you think will win?" and I chuckled when he said "Man, I don't know...augh..it's gonna be so close." I was all "whatever, man", cause in the real world Hogan's age vs. Michaels' youth...Hogan couldn't keep up.
Come to think of it, it was almost a decade ago that I saw my last big Michaels match. I used to be a huge WWF fan from the ages of 10-13. Last match of his I saw was the Bret Hart Iron Man match. My favorite of his was the very first ladder match with Razor Ramon though. I wasn't even sure that guy was around anymore. Isn't this Hogan's last big event before he retires or something? My friend jabbered on, but we were drunk and I wasn't very interested.

You never know with Hogan. He left WWE in 2003. Then, prior to this years' WrestleMania 21 in March, Hogan was inducted into the Hall Of Fame. All the fans went MAD chanting "One More Match". So they gave it to them. Hulk teamed up with Shawn to fight a couple of Arabs and then a couple of other guys. In the midst of that, after the win, HBK nails Hogan with the Sweet Chin Music while Hogan was posing. Now the match is on for SummerSlam. I doubt it'll be Hogan's last. He still wants to go at it with Austin. Sort of like the biggest draw of the 80's vs the biggest draw of the 90's. Here's a clip of them from this Monday went the were in the ring at the same time: www.wwe.com/shows/raw/videos/And here's one from the week before where Shawn made fun of Hogan! www.wwe.com/shows/raw/archive/08012005/videos/

Those clips were pretty entertaining. I liked seeing that best of Shawn Michaels reel...I think I'd seen all those classic matches when I was a kid.

Here's a nice photo which proves it all, Hogan is almost unbeatable. Look at the power in his arms, Michaels is no match for him. www.wwe.com/shows/raw/photos/ (Photo 17)

I can't even remember the last time I watched Wrestling. I tried to get back into it when Undertaker brought back his Deadman theme, but I just couldn't get into it.

I stopped when I was 10. Before that I was the biggest Hulk fan ever.
