He wasn't FOUND dead, they were recording a new documentary under water when it happened. Crew members were swimming right next to him.
He was a nice man, may he rest in piece.

While he knew his sh*t better than almost any other guy out there, I don't think anyone can say we didn't see this coming. People have joked about this kind of thing for years, but it seems f...cking with dangerous animals has finally got the better of him.

I was talking to Jackyl about this. He said it must be a luxury to die doing what you love to do. I guess he loves screwing around with dangerous animals.

If not, he sure did have us fooled. A synopsis of any crocodile hunter episode is basically "This is the <insert incredibly dangerous animal here>. It can <insert extremely fast, painful way of killing something here>. We're gonna go find one and f...ck with it."

Crikey, that sucks, he actually made me chuckle when I saw him on TV.
Everywhere I go, I hear people saying, "Well, at least he died doing what he loves." Well that sucks even more. He loved doing that, but dying wasnt one of the reasons he loved it. @@
That's the part that gets me. It was just very bad timing and position.
RIP Irwin.
