Well, 5 years have passed since the attack.

And I would like to post this thread but in a different way. Everyone always talks about how tragic this was and all media will be all over this day anyway.

But this is a game forum. This a Metal Gear forum.

So on this day, let's reflect on how 9/11 changed out Metal Gear interest. The day that took away the scene of Arsenal Gear crashing though Manhattan. A scene that every Metal Gear fan would've LOVED to see. We can not deny the impact of 9/11 on Metal Gear... the game was almost delayed and lost what could've been one of the most exciting cutscenes ever.

I would have liked too see something patriotic from MGS2 that tributes the Two Towers on 9/11. Something like, when you call Otacon during the tanker and he says, "2 months and 6 years ago, terrorists hijacked 2 planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center in New York City. This hindered Colonel Jackson's plans for funding for Ray, because most of the tansactions went through the offices on the high floors."
