Does anyone have 1 of those Walkie Talkie phones that Sprint/Nextel/Boost uses? If so, what do you think about them? Some people say it's beyond retarded, but for some strange reason, I like the idea. I got a Boost Mobile phone. I got it primarily for work. It's a prepaid, but rates are outrageous for cell usage. Although the $1 Unlimited walkie talkie isn't too bad. Wanna bug me? 121*135*4510 and then push the PTT button. zOMG picture! myspace-310.vo.llnwd.net/01123/01/37/1123637310_l.jpg

Meh. I didn't like them. They were more of a nuisance then a pleasure.

PTT is so annoying. Some sh*t phone company tried to get it started in Australia but no one got into it. Its annoying and sounds like crap.

Ya, that was Boost Mobile.
Like I said, I got mine specifically for work.
Other people though seem to use that sh*t as thier own personal phone. I looked up rate plans at Nextel the other day. THAT sh*t IS OUTRAGEOUS.
And actually, if you know how to use it right, it sounds rather good.

Yeah but think back to middle school. Your not gonna have fun with it when the little walkie-talkie chirp sounds on in class every 5 seconds. And I have had EXTREMELY bad experiences with Nextel.
Their mobile broadband is ok if you have a laptop with you in in your suitcase all the time.

Weeeeeelllll Nextel is pretty good I remember I got my radio for free (I call it a radio) but the only bad thing was that thats all I had was the radio and sometimes my service wouldnt respond for awhile or if I was in certain places...(I think it was the harmonic resonance, haha anyone know where I got that line from???, anyway) if you pay for your Nextel service the radio ofcourse comes free and Im sure it would work all the time instead of some of the time. And yes IMO the radio works better then actually having to call someone.

I usually call it a radio too.
Haha Black Snake. When I was in middle school, only the richest of peoples had cell phones. Now everyone and their 4 year old has a cell phone.
