I feel that things need to be discussed. I want to open this and have everyone state their views on what the problems are and possible solutions. I want to get a couple of things straight for some of you that seem to be expecting stuff:
Problems that I see:
1. Complete lack of participation in making the forum grow. There are no suggestions made on making new forum designs or organization layouts. At one time I recall there was much debate over moderation. We got 3 mods here now and.... what? One has his own site, the other spends more time on another forum, and the third hardly shows up here at all. Otty said he had many layout ideas to make the board better with coding. That was the last I heard of that and nothing has changed. It seems to me that Moderators are STAFF, as such they are just as involved in making the board as me, perhaps more so since I’m sure they know this stuff better than me. They may say, “well give us more editing powers”. Show me what you got and I will. It’s that simple. Hell, I may even co-admin with one of them if they show me that they know what they are doing.
2. Site issues. The site is NOT gonna get bigger. I am not upgrading the account to pay for it and that is that. Further more, as MGN has proven in the past, the forum traffic can differ from that of the site’s content level. They had a heavy forum but no content. It worked great. The point is, MGF is not advertised in search engines properly and I don’t know how to do that. I’m sure some of you might. So let’s have some suggestions on that as the visual layout of the site will definetly bring the people in. Simple point is that I don’t know how to advertise the site, and this is where some legit help is most needed.

You know coding, help with the layout. You know advertising, help with site promotion. But HELP! Don’t just talk about it or point fingers, or quote Metal Gear.
