So did you ever find out why the forums weren't showing up on your PC? Was there a block?

I stumbled across the password in a couple of e-mails I saved from way back. The user name took a little bit to recollect though.
It was something with the Remote Desktop Connection. When I wasn't connected, the forums couldn't even load, but when I use it with the remote connection it said "An Error Has Occurred, You have been banned from the forum." I was too lazy to figure out what was going on, until finally it started working again.
EDIT: By the looks of things, it doesn't look like I missed anything important.
