What's your names?

During my time here at MGF, I've had several user names. Those I recall are the following.

TheBrotherOfLight
Most definitely the name I've had the longest time. Everyone used to call me TBoL and that was fun. ;D The name is of course what Liquid called Snake during the torture scene in MGS. "Finally the two us meet, the brother of light, and the brother of dark."

Cain
There was some thought put into this name. I started out with TheBrotherOfLight, which pretty much meant Solid Snake. In the 15 min MGS4 trailer, Liquid Ocelot says "You're the one who killed Abel and was cast out by Eve." In the Bible, Eva's sons were named Abel and Cain. I figured Ocelot meant that Solid killed Liquid = Cain killed Abel. So once again I called myself Snake but with another name. Anyways... (psycho alert ;D)

And now...

ProtoNephilim
This name I got from - oh sh*t - Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. Nephilim means something that is part human and part god or something like that. Proto stand for (I think) something that's first of its kind. I've been using this name in other forums and on my blog, so I thought I change my name at MGF too.

Well, here's my history:

1999-2000: I started on the original MetalGear.com forums as Big Boss. Then I moved on to Metal Gear Net and was known as LeoTigris and later on Scarlet Gladiator.

2001-now: With MGF I started out as Arsenal Gear.

[Otty]

First started out as Big Boss on the old Ezboard forums.

When MGF moved to Proboards I changed it to Otacon, I found the name more fitting for me.

And after years spending time here I gave myself the nickname Otty, which is short for Otacon.

[Black Snake]

I can't remember my name from the old EzBoard forums, but Black Snake came out of the blue. I wanted a Snake in it, but I didn't know what to put for a prefix. Eventually Black Snake stuck.


I'd like to guess the meaning of Anthony's name.

Liquiduz was my first name here. It was basically the opposite of Solidus, with a "Z" instead of an "S."

My current one is pretty self-explanatory. If you dont know what an anomaly is, you need to get yourself a dictionary and broaden your vocabulary.

[Econs]

When I played Starseige: Tribes, I was Eucons.

I shortend it to Econs.

Then to Eco.

Sometimes I use Econster.
