Biggest movie mystery

Those of you who saw TRANSFORMERS will know exactly what Im talking about.

Anyways, during the previews before TRANSFORMERS played, they showed this trailer of a movie. The movie's name is currently unknown, but it's codenamed "Cloverfield." All information about this movie is being kept under wraps.

Anyways, I gotta say it was a pretty awesome trailer and I dont remember being so intrigued and excited about a movie like this. It may not look like much in the camcorder version, but if you see it on the big screen, it has a whole different feeling.

I dont think Ive ever been so intrigued and excited about a movie like this before in my entire life.

Meh...

Sounded more like a Godzilla movie. I mean really... there are explosions and a mystery roar. "It's coming this way!!!" So it'll be some big monster... or robot... or alien invasion...

I could be wrong, but after seeing the actualy trailer I'm not terribly impressed. This is VERY reminicent of the '98 Godzilla movie previews. When it crunched the T-Rex skeleton, or knocked out the New Years ball. So here we have the head of the statue of liberty.

Hell, maybe it's X-men 4 and it's a Sentinel! LOL!

As for the hype... people are gulible. Plain and Simple. "oooooohhhh a mystery! It MUST BE a good movie!!!!"

We'll wait and see. Good marketing though... if they can keep it under wraps untl January, the ticket sales will be insane!

Haha agreed AG, good marketing, gullables will be like ZOMG THEY f...ckING LEFT IT A MYSTERY I MUST SEE IT.

I'm going to check it out only because the explosions in the city looked awesome, I love a movie that gives a sense of collasal disruption.
