Yeeeaa I read the article neurogenetics, this is awesome stuff actually but ofcourse all the more scary. I like this though becuase I have bronchial-asthma and I do not want children just for the sole reason that I do not want to passs on any type of sickness to my children, but with research like this it gives me some hope of that someday one day I can have children and I wont have to worry about them having a disease that was passed on to them genetically.

Well, they're making the whole thing to eliminate inherited sicknesses from little kids.
But, they're still replacing inherited genes with "outside" genes. The same thing they did with the "genome soldier project" in MGS. Only difference lies within its purpose.
