Not sure if there are Anime fans here but im a huge fan of the DBZ series, and after 4 trys they finally made a DBZ game right thats true to the anime, its free flight, free everything bascially, throw people into mountains, water anything, over 60 characters in it, every single transformation any character has had, every person from the original dragonball to dragonball GT, comes out novemeber in the US but october for japan  |

DBZ is one of the most overrated cartoons ever (something that watered down can't be called anime). The Budokai series has been alright, but for the most part the games and the show are poretty bad.

I knew it! Again another Budokai game. But this is the one that impressed me the most so far. Almost all characters and saga's are playable!

I liked Budokai (Enough to buy it) but I thought Budokai 2 was stupid (not because it was cell shaded, I like cell shading, but the way they did story mode was stupid) But this Tenkachi souds cool, Finally I get to use Chaitzou!
...right?

yes, anybody u can think of you can use, and i seen proof of him fighting Nappa ;D and alos there is battle damage in this game ;D

Number two on my list this year: DBZ Budokai Tankaichi. This isn't actualy a Budokai, it's called "DBZ Sparking" in Japan, Atari just changed the name cause the Budokai series is more popular here. This game was made by Spike and not Dimps, so it's a TOTALLY different game from the past Budokais, and so far it surpasses them all. I cant wait for this game.

yeah same here, if you ever played dragonball z greatest legends for ps1, its ALOT like that, but waay better, i just hope you can transform in the middle of battle as the previous budokais

You cant, thats the only downside of it. Well, I for one dont care about transforming during battles, I'l still like it no matter what.

So I see I'm not the only one who was playing Budokai games, DBZ Saprking sure looks nice and I'm looking forword to get my hands on it. I think the 1st wich retelled the story in 3D and the 3rd Budokai were the best ones.

Altogether, there are about 90 different kinds of "forms" you can choose. |
