i just got mine, and even with instructions i cant figure out how to get version 2, i did a reg update and got version 1.51, i dont know how to work network settings and such, anyone own one and know how to do it? i would appreciate your help

Nope. I have yet to upgrade mine, although I probably should. It would be pretty badass to view The Dumpster on my PSP.

I do and I have V2.0. 1. go to www.sony.com 2. On the main page, under PLAY go to PSP 3. There should be a pic of the PSP and it should say verion update 2.00. click on that and follow the instructions. If you don't see the pic, look for "System Update" under PSP Support NOTE: Put the update download under GAME in your PSP Memstick. Or it could be due to so many people on the erver downloading the thing. |

see the thing is, i dont know where i would insert it to my manager, i think i got a diff version then most ppl, so i put it in as a game save in my psp manager?

Well, in my version, you put it in the GAME folder in the PSP foler on the Memstick but I think you would put it as a game save in your manager.

hmmm i dont wanna ruin my system, on that site it said put it under update, and also, it wont allow me to put a folder in, just a file, any ideas?

ive just tryed it, theres not switch or anything for inserting like a game fave or anything, i dont know whats up with it, this program came with my usb i got today, it only lets me like insert images movies etc i have no clue how to do it

i know double posting isnt allowed so i apologize, but i got it, actually very very simple, psp.com makes your brain fry, i found the answer on a forum, but thanks for the help ;D

Yeah i was confused to when i got my PSP too, which was last week.
I dont think you can play online yet for some gay reason.
But you probly know this but ill say it in case others dont....
To install the v2.0 you have to put in the sampler UMD and go into the main menu and go to the game column and go up (or down, forgot) to where it says V2.0 Update.
And it will install. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY POWER!!!

thanks though but i was able to get it, it NEVER said on the psp site u need to open up your psp through My Computer, so thats where i hit a wall, i thought i had to do it through media manager, i found the answer on some forum, took less then 5 minutes once i knew what i was doing ;D version 2 is real cool, i like the wallpaper feature, i even got my site background as my wallpaper  and today ill prolly after work, go get the 256 MB mem card, 32 isnt big enough for MP3 and stuff, only holds a few |
