So, is FF VII better than MGS? I know it's the biggest competition for MGS on the PSone. Which game is better?

You cant really say which game is better cause they're two different games. Thats why I dont like lists of "greatest games of all time", cause it's different genres and the whole deal. FFVII is the probably the best RPG, MGS is probably the best action-adventure/stealth game, but you cant say which one is better because they're not the same type of games.

graphics = MGS
sound = MGS & FFVII
gameplay = depends on what you want. FFVII is long, MGS is short but super tense and very great!
