I had the chance to play King Kong yesterday. If you don't like to play games that are extremley realistic, stay away from this game. Yes it's an FPS with guns, but no HUD. The trick to knowing your status is by listening to the characters voice. When he says "I need to reload." You should reload. He then says how many clips or bullets(if below a clip) you have remaining. When he says "I'm almost dry," You have 2 or 1 bullets remaining. When you get hit, the screen flashes red. When your about to die, the screen flashes red repeatedly, and you can hear a heartbeat, and extremely dramatic music. Your health goes back to normal over the time of not getting damaged.
Other things to do in this game: Swim, wade, play as King Kong (which as a tricky control scheme), pick up spears and bones, light them on fire, light tangly bushes on fire, find sticks to open doors, kill s**t.
