Anyone played the greatness that is RE:4? I got this one for Christmas and I'd go so far to say that if you own a PS2, you should own MGS3, God of War and Resident Evil 4. It's a lot different in terms of gameplay than from the previous Resident Evil games. Sure there's still the puzzles and special item/placement things and that's a part of many Capcom games, but as far as the things you do in the game it's a lot different. Manual aiming, different enemies, things like being able to climb over small obstacles and diving through windows, pushing over ladders that are being used by enemies to come up to where you are, small little innovations that give it some more reality is what helps this one stand out. The graphics are really fine and the story has been great (I'm not done yet). It's all pretty masterful in its execution. If you were creeped out by the masquerade ball held by the cult in the movie Eyes Wide Shut, you would like this as some creepy cult stuff is involved. Anyone who's played it feel free to weigh in; but if you haven't been a fan of any sort of the Resident Evil series before now, this one might win you over because it's not what you know Resident Evil as anymore.

I completed the game a few weeks ago, also the only RE that I own and thus the only one I've ever compleated. Its a very good game, with lots to do after completion.

Resident Evil 4, though it is not the slightest scary, is a freaking fun video game! This game definantly deserves to be Game Of The Year, or at least a finalist. I hope RE5 for the PS3 will achieve as much as RE4 has. Though, sometimes RE4 might be really difficult, like when you have to kill 80 villagers in the beggining with a Pistol and a knife, but it just adds to the fun.
This Years Must Own Games:
God Of War(PS2) GTA: LCS (PSP) Resident Evil 4 (GameCube or PS2) Shadow Of The Colossus (PS2. This game is the surprise breakout game for me. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. This is videogame art.)

Yup I got it. Awesome game, one of the best this year. Gamespot named it the game of the year, I can see why. But MY game of the year is Shadow Of The Colossus.

Though, this game does have some cheesy dialouge............"Guess there's no sex discrimination here....Better find her fast!" "I've confirmed the body of a dead officer." "Mmmmnieda!"

At first, I thought the Los Illuminados cultist robed guy's chant was kind of funny, but it isn't funny any more when there is eeree music, and the sound of a bunch of maces being swung. This game gets more hard and intense as it goes. Salazar and Krauser pissed me off a good amount.

You think they were gearing up for Revenge of the Sith or something? BTW did one of them said "Go Halo" or "Call Geico" non stop? RE4 is that DAMN good. Have both GC and PS2 collectors, both fully done and enjoyed every part.
