Burnout Legends

Another awesome PSP game. This game is basically Burnout 3 Takedown in the palm of your hand. Fast cars, cool soundtrack, and fun and fast paced crashes and Takedowns. I don't know if you guys hate racing games but if you don't and have a PSP, try Burnout Legends.

For those of you who do not know what the Burnout series is, it is a game series that started in 2001 with Burnout. The game was made by Acclaim, but then Acclaim went bankrupt. Then it went to the hands of Criterion Studios and was much better. It is a racing game, where cars go really, really fast. There are alot of different modes, but what makes the game unique is a crash system where you get points by crashing other cars, getting air time, grinding against rails, smashing into traffic, and more. It is a very fun racing series.

I have Burnout 3 and Legends. I loved Burnout 3, it was the game I had the most fun with when playing against my friends. Then I tried out Legends and I sort of lost the Burnout feeling, it was to much of everything.

For example, in Legends you can just crash against cars and they fly away while you can keep on driving as if nothing happened. In Burnout 3 you had to be careful, because if you would even slightly touch a car you would crash, which added the tension and adrenalin. And the Crash Mode was a lot better in Burnout 3.

Before I tried it I thought it wouldn't give off the feel of the original games on the PS2. Then I played it and whoa. It nailed the speed of the cars and the graphics perfectly. It has graphics as good as Takedown on the PS2, but on the PSP and with no framerate problems.
