Smart move on Sony's part. If there are problems, halt everything and fix it instead of just sending it out and hoping people won't notice. Sony can take as much time as they need if it means PS3 will demolish the competition.

I'm with Eco here. It will be worth $600. Think about it. 2 freaking teraflops, full backwards compatibility, and MGS4.

The 360 (full system with remote etc) costs $699rrp in australia the PSP Value Pack is also $399rrp+ free game in australia so you can imagine that the PS3 will be $799rrp+ over here.
I think it will be worth it because if you think about it the PS3 is so advanced i think there will be ways to run OS on it. You can run Windows 95 on a PSP, so i think hackers will find a way to get vista working. Possibilitys are endless.

Well, they said Linux will come installed on the PS3's hard drive, I think.
That'll be cool.

Hell yeah it will. I still think it's hysterical that Microsoft was using Macs to program their X360s.

I still want them to openly admit that the 360 is a down size G5 =P
Linux on PS3 wow, I hope the hacking comes soon so someone could port models off MGS4 into other games.
