Valve, the creators of Half-Life, are working on episode additions to their videogame Half-Life 2 called Half-Life Episode 1, and 2. Episode 1 is already out. Now, I've had some bad experiences with Half-Life 2. The 1st Episode was too short.


Now the 2nd Episode, scheduled for release this Fall, will come bundled with other projects by Valve. The bundle will contain the following: Half-Life 2 full game, HL-2 Episodes 1 and 2, as well as games such as Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer game of classic Red vs. Blue team action or just the usual every man for himself.


But Portal might be the seller of the bundle. Portal combines FPS action, with game puzzles. In a research facility, scientists have developed a special weapon that creates portals. Shoot the weapon to your destination and then to a wall near you. You will teleport to the other Portal. You just have to see the trailer to actually make an opinion.

I just finished playing Prey and then this comes to gametrailers.com by valve...I just hope this is gonna be in the episodes of HL. I can't see this ending up in HL3

Looks pretty gimmicky if you ask me. Not you mention you'll need an uber PC to run the damn thing.

Yeah but I forgot to mention it's coming out for PS3 and X360 too.

I have the PC to play it at full spec. So all I need is to wait for Half-Life 2: Episode II (Attack of the Gameplay Clones of Prey)

Cool, my friend happened to show me the trailer for this today. I thought it was a game all in itself...which made me think: "Alright, that's a new concept, but that idea alone shouldn't warrant an entire game out of the concept." Then he told me that it was an add-on for HL2, and I was like "Oh, well that could be cool." It's crazy jumping downwards into a portal that connects to the ceiling, thus enabling you to see yourself. Makes your brain go "No! That's not possible!"

When your chasing the guy in circles, it makes you think like there are 4 portals, instead there are only 2.
