Never, ever, buy this crap. I gave it a 2/10.

When Naughty Dog and Insomniac sold Crash Bandicoot and Spyro to Vivendi Universal, those 2 series went ENTIRELY down the drain.
Luckily, Naughty Dog and Insomniac bounced back with Jax and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank.

Ratchet and Clank kick ass, but I avoid Jak and Daxter like the f...cking plague.

Daxter is the most annoying little sh*t I've ever seen and I wish he would goddamn die. I'm sure the rest of the games are awesome, but I can't get past that little prick.

And Jak 3 is I think a wonderfull game. No loading times makes the experience really cool since the enviroments are so huge. Exploring the Wastelands and entering caves are fun, and all the minigames, and collecting things... Haven't played Daxter though for the PSP. But I own all other Jak games, including Jak X.

Man, this thread made me dig up Jak and Daxter. Going to finish it for the first time now. I got 1 and 3, but never played the second one. Gamespot reviews 2 the best of the three, is it truly so?

Each game is so different if you ask me. The first one was pretty much a tech demo for the PS2 when it came out. Jak 2 is set in a city and you can explore it and everything surrounding it without loading times. It's the hardest game if you ask me. Jak 3 is my personal favorite, because it's the biggest game (it has the whole city from Jak 2, plus another city and a huge desert) and the difficulty leves is well balanced.
