Remember when a trailer of MGS2 was put up on Konami's site and it crashed? Well, GTA4 (or IV) did not only make its official site unvisitable, but also Gametrailers, Gamspot and IGN I think, plus two swedish sites.  |

I saw the trailer and wasn't impressed at all.
I'm not one of those types of gamers who gets crazy over graphics.
I can see the direction that RockStar is going with GTA IV. Make it look great, but continue to ignore glitches/bugs. Imagine how much fun it will be to have a very nice looking house and garage EAT your very nice looking car! Also, the game will still keep the same boring missions. They did manage to change one thing so far, the main character is the worst looking one in any GTA title.
Unless some better trailers or gameplay videos come out that blow me away, I'll have to wait for another PS3 title to impress me to actually buy their system.

Confirmed how? Me together with a couple of thousands of people were watching the official site the seconds before the counter reaching zero, and it just died. It took like half an hour until you could get in. Gametrailer.com didn't work either because there was too many users online and two swedish sites I visited just showed an error message around that time. A thread about GTA4 went from 2 pages to 30 in a matter of minutes. ;D There was like five responses every second. |

Shiznit, as FoxDie put it, means an event that caught his attention.
Well, have your own opinion. Lets look at San Andreas. It's been in the top 10 at GameSpot, not to mention on the top requested FAQs for GameFAQs for 3 years. Anybody who owns a PS2 has played SA, it's undoubtable. With the amount of hype generated from that, of course GTA IV is gonna crash a site or two.
Ahhh, just as I thought, I knew it was gonna happen. Russian dude in Liberty City.

No, but this is Liberty City you're watching in the trailer. Only with greater detail. And we didn't see the front of her, so we don't know if it is her or a parody, like everything else.
And I don't think it will only be Liberty City. Maybe we can travel between all cities from previous games? It's an add for traveling to Vice City for example.
