Well, my list is VERY short as I’m not nearly on the same level of gaming as you guys.

* All-time favorite: Metal Gear Solid (PlayStation) – And I don’t think that would change. It had the biggest impact on my life.

* Favorite fighting game: Bloody Roar 1 (PlayStation)

* Favorite sport game: SmackDown vs RAW 2006 (PlayStation 2)
VERY Close runner up: Smackdown Shut Your Mouth (PlayStation 2)

* Favorite movie-based game: Rocky Legends (Xbox)

* Favorite shooter: Halo (Xbox)

* Favorite 2D game: X-men vs Street Fighter (PlayStation)

* Most anticipated game: Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty (PlayStation) – and that will NEVER change.

* Favorite Puzzle game: Lupin III Treasure of the Sorcerer King (PlayStation 2)

* My most highly recommended 3D game: Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence (PlayStation 2)

* My most highly recommended 2D game: Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake (MSX2) – related to the above.

Personal opinion on the BEST GAME EVER:

I will go on record to suggest Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence for the best game ever. It truly is a marvel if you think about it. You get MGS3 Snake Eater (with the option of 3D camera), which is arguably the best the PS2 has to offer. You get Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, one of the all time best 2D accomplishments. Plus a whole bunch of fun extras. A 3-game package topped off with a great selection of extras, and a movie disk (Premium) to boot! Can’t beat that.
