www.gametrailers.com/search.php?s=retrospectiveI recently watched these. As a big Zelda and Metroid fan, these were fun to watch. So enjoyable seeing how each series has been evolving throughout the time. The FF retro is still going, with a new episode being uploaded every week. If you're a fan of either of those franchises, and are a sucker for nostalgia, these retros are something you should watch. The guy who puts these together, Brandon, said there's gonna be a MG retrospective in the future. Probably once MGS4 is out, to make a retrospective on the whole series.

Had watched both on youtube a lot of time ago, but great nonetheless.
My only problem??? MG retrospectives have been done SO MANY times... I'm sure were just going to hear everything we already know (and knew) before.
Not exactly "excited" about it, but at least I'm sure it's going to get me a chuckle or two in the whole "NES/MSX" issue.

It's very well done and I look forward to seeing one on Metal Gear. It's one of the very few game series that has hit 20 years and is still one of the leads of the industry today. Who else is on this list?
Super Mario Brothers The Legend of Zelda Metal Gear Final Fantasy
But you know... MG is unique among the big legends. It's the only one that shows the characters evolving, changing, and aging. A continuous story.

After all, it (along with Contra) started in that little Japanese gaming PC that almost could, the MSX, and has lasted all the way 'till the PS2 n' PSP. (Just like Metal Gear!) El Cernex EDIT: Typo fixed, and made the whole damn thing easier to read. Sorry there, Arsenal,

I said it's ONE of the franchises that leads the industry. And it cleary as it's the most anticipated title for the PS3.
