It is very important to remember that when you fight Liquid Snake on top of REX on Extreme mode, there is a hidden danger that is not present in other difficulty modes.
If you fall off or get knocked off the edge, Snake will grab on to it and you can still pull up. But on Extreme, you just fall off. Even if you just accidently run off the edge, GAME OVER. This makes it an even deadlier battle than usual.
