The Twin Snakes - Quick Key Change

Remember in the original Solid when you had to run to the underground warehouse where you fought Raven to change your PAL key, back to the Metal Gear Hanger, then back to the broiler rooom? In TTS, a shortcut was made specificly to avoid that!

After you insert the first Pal Key (Room temp) run around on the third level catwalk allll the way over to the right side of the room. Sidle along the side support until you see a ledge in between where your standing and the next level down. The area contains 2 pipes. One is Liquid Nitrogen (cold) and one is Steam (hot). Shoot the Liquid Nitrogen Pipe and your card will instantly freeze. Then come back and do the same for Steam.

Hooray! Now you dont have to worry about your card changing back to room temperature on the long journey back from the broiler room to the MG warehouse.

But then what happens to the Naomi Codec conversation? In the original MGS when Snake is on the first Cargo elevator on the way to heat up the key, she calls him and tells him the truth about everything. If you use the pipes in TTS, what happens to that conversation?

Hrmm... I'll play through TTS again and tell you. (I can beat TTS in an hour and a half, so no biggie.)

I already checked it. Remember, I have all parts of all games saved. ;D

Both calls are there, one from Miller and one from Naomi. After you drop down from the balcony you get Miller. Then once you're back on the 3rd floor you get the Naomi call.
