In all those years I've played Metal Gear Solid I thought I'd seen it all. But still once a year I get the joy of finding something new.
I was recently playing The Twin Snakes and I was messing around on the Snow Field, after the battle with Sniper Wolf. I was at the bottom right of the area and I was leaning against the right wall, suddenly the camera changes and focuses on a bunch of tree's. And to my amazement I see a parachute stuck on one of the tree's. A big exclamation mark quickly appearers aboves Snakes head and the codec goes off, it's Campbell.
Campbell says it's Liquid Snakes parachute from the Hind D you shot down. But Snake says thats impossible and it's just one of Liquids mind games, it's his way of saying he's still around.
You really have to see this for yourselves! So far I've only seen it in The Twin Snakes, but who knows, maybe it's also in the original Playstion version. Keep your eye's open. ;D

I'm glad for you. But I've known this since my first playthrough of the original. That was six years ago. ;D

Yeah, I've known about this one for years, it's one of the rare easter eggs not everyone knows about. I love the lines exchanged between Campbell and Snake here.
"That's impossible, as soon as he ejected, he'd be diced up faster than an onion in an infomercial."
Snake: "Maybe he's trying to send me a message." Campbell: "Meaning, 'I'm still alive, I suppose.'" Snake: "More like, 'I'll string you up!'"

"That's impossible, as soon as he ejected, he'd be diced up faster than an onion in an infomercial." ;D That's a good line. I've had it as a signature several times.
