On July 7th, Konami in a joint venture with Famitsu (Japanese Gaming Magazine) will release Metal Gear Online (from MGS3 Subsistence) as a stand alone game with a new handbook. E3 trailers will be included as well. Nothing new, really, just an MGO re-release by itself.

Yeah, it probably is a Japan release. But why bother? Don't we have a revamped online mode coming in MGS4?

Well, I guess they want more people to be online. I'm sure not everyone got Subsistence, so this way they'll still be able to join.
