www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/konami-exec-says-metal-gear-solid-may-go-to-other-consoles/Sony is so screwed if it goes to 360. lmao I dont care really, since I like 360 better than PS3 right now. I can only imagine how rabid fanboys are responding to this on GameFAQs. I'd be cracking my ass up if they were to drop that bomb during their E3 conference. "So expect MGS4 to be released in time for the Holidays! Oh, and next year we'll be releasing a much better version for the 360. See ya! " lmfao

One title alone won't sink an entire console. Plus, the price drop just announced should have the units moving some. Despite what popular opinion says, I've read that the PS3 isn't doing all that badly. Just not as good as the competition. The PS3 is expected to have a 10-year run before it becomes obsolete. They would be betting on a classic "tortoise and the hare" strategy, in that case. Or maybe think of the PS3 as a long distance runner. With a life expectancy of around 10 years, the console should never be considered dead in the water after only one year. It makes sense if you think of the PS3 as a long-term investment.

The PS3, from what I know, was released much later than the Wii and the 360. Not only are PS3 sales exceeding Xbox 360, but the newly announced price drop, and the new 80GB version is bound to throw Sony on top by the end of this year at the earliest and most definately next year we will really see what Sony has to offer for gamers (PShome totally beats Xbox Live, fanboyism asside, it really goes beyond what XboxLive is doing).
Check out the Sony E3 Press Conference Live on G4 (f...ck g4, but hey it's the first time they are airing the Press Conferences live on TV).
