I'm tired of "I win" posts, bickering, inter-MGF rivalries and obnoxiousness of that ilk. Here's where it gets fun (and funny, for the rest of you). If you piss off a mod with your behavior towards another member or, less likely, the mods themselves, and they deem it fit within their judgement, you will get banned for an indeterminate amount of days. As you know, almost no ban is permanent on Metal Gear Forever except for those selected few who hold the dubious distinction of being recognized as hackers and general troublemakers. I thought it would be a source of both entertainment and aggravation for the members here, so I proposed the idea and it was accepted. If you should step over what the mods or Arsenal Gear perceive as bannable offenses, you shall be sequestered to Outcast Heaven for a period of time, probably two to three days if it's annoying enough; however, it can be longer. Once a member is banned, the mod responsible will make a post on this sub-forum explaining their actions and give an account of why that person was banned. The mod shall also be responsible for un-banning this person according to the time specified. This should equal hilarity....so step on up and get yourself banned for the sake of humor on the MGF boards.
Edit for the mods: this first ban has taught me that you should manually plug in the user name of the person you want to ban, that way you can choose how long to ban the person and how you want to ban them. You are given the option of banning by user name, ip address or email address. You could choose all three, but you should only ban the user name because it starts getting confusing once you start banning all three because it doesn't list which ip's belong to which username, etc., etc. and therefore makes it harder to unban people afterwards. So just do it by user name.
