Null: Beat Null once with stamina depletion/finish game on any difficulty. He will be available once a new game starts
Teliko: Have a Metal Gear Acid save on your memory stick. She will be there once you start a second game
Gene: Recruit 200 soldiers and beat Gene using stamina depletion.
Python: beat Python by stamina depletion
Cunningham: beat Cunningham by stamina depletion and beat game before 1971.
Major Zero: Have an MGS:DGN save on your memory stick. He will be there when you start a new game.
