I added the Expanded Universe page to briefly explain the grouping of the two Portable Games. Check it out. Notice that on the main page menu when you select EU Snake now hols a PSP instead of the PS3 controller and the RAY figure is replace with a GBC. ;D
I also fixed the code on the Timeline in the Supplement Gear section so that Big Boss' face shows up when you mouseover the buttons.

... I would had loved to see you saying MG: Ghost Babel was the ultimate 2D version of Metal Gear (IT IS TRUE!)

But it isn’t, really. There are definitely great things about it, but there are still many areas where it lags due to the poor system it was on. For example, the whole “stage” set up, inability to backtrack, or use a Stinger Missile. Not to mention that it was graphically inferior to even Metal Gear 1. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think those things make or break the game, but it is something that MG2 has. So, I can’t in good conscience say that GB is the ultimate 2D Metal Gear as MG2 has it licked in several aspects.
I actually have a great degree of clarity since I just ran through these games. I played GB first, for some reason. Then MG1, and last night I finished MG2 (second time in the last week!). I think GB did the best it could possibly do on GBC. But I also feel that MG2 did the best it could on the MSX2. Taking the hardware out of the picture, MG2 was a fountain of innovation. This is where all those great MGS concepts were born. GB, on the other hand, merely piggybacked on MGS1. There wasn't really much innovation to for the series as a whole. So, taking that into account. I have to say that MG2 is the ultimate 2D Metal Gear.
If I had to compare them:
Gameplay: Draw. GB is more versetile in abilities, but is limited but lack of backtracking and being even more linear.
Graphics: MG2 takes an easy lead here. I'm still bothered by the purple-suit Snake. LOL
Sound: I give this one NARROWLY to MG2. GB had some good musice but MG2 is immortalized in all those VR Missions. LOL
Story: GB had a better plot, no question about it. However, it should be remembered that it came AFTER MGS1 and 10 years after MG2. So, it should be expected to have a more serious plot.
Innovation: MG2 rules this category, and not just compared to GB but almost ANY game in the franchise.
Sorry, I would have to give it to MG2.

Well, I was talking about the gameplay. I'm sorry about the confusion. Also, as simple as it gets, I still think Metal Gear Ghost Babel is closer the the "perfect" "stealth simulation" in 2D, as MG2, as much as I love it (you probably know that better than everybody else), is more limited, gameplay wise, than GB. I'm talking mostly to what you're allowed to do. "Moveset", in a sense. I do agree, though, that the "linear" bit and all that is quite disappointing. EDIT: Oh, I had this idea: Since you own pretty much all the boxes, couldn't you snap pictures of them, what they contain, etc, and put the info on their respective games? It's just an idea, though,

Gotta be more specific. First, are you talking about puting it here for you or on the site? If you're talking about the site, sorry, can't add more stuff. Seroiusly, MGF is full in most game sections in terms of space.
If you are talking about just some pics for you, which games? I have both the US and the Japanese versions as well as the expanded editions.

Yeah... those pics would have to be huge in order to make it work. Though I still may do that and have the pics here for references.

Also, remember how the Junker HQ had their site done? They had this SINGLE giant picture of all of the memorabilia they got, and each single picture lead to the section (in the site, of course) of either the product or the game? That could work too.

Yes... but where would the picture be? Surely you don't mean to do that instead of the main menu.

My g/f. Imagine her surprise when I told her about it, "Hey, guess what!" ;D She protested at first, and I got a beat of a beat down. But then she was ok given the size of the pic.

thanks. ;D She's got INSANE abs! Hurts my back when I watch her workout on the incline bench. 100-150 situps on an INCLINE bench!
