I have three concepts for MGS5 already. What would be ideal for me with MGS5, though, is that we don't do those. If the team picks one of those concepts, I have to get involved again, which I don't want to do. There are already so many good ideas from the staff, so if we select one of those, that would be really good. At that point I could really rely on them and take the step back to be the producer, which is the ideal situation, I think.

I have lost so much respect for this man right there! Outside of Metal Gear he only made two games, both of which where HEAVILY based on movies. Now he finally has a chance to step up and work on something new... and what do we get?! Another f...cking Metal Gear! For what?! Patriots are gone. Big Boss and his Sons are finished. Metal Gear-type vehicles are as common as rifles! What?! What the f...ck do you want to do now?! Have a 100 year old Snake travel to Mars to infiltrate a colony of space monkeys?!

Honestly, it doesn't change what I said before. I'm done with Metal Gear after MGS4. Yes, I'm upset that they will go on, but that's their problem. Will the next one suck? Hey, I look at:

I'll say no as long as Kojima is directing.

Also, to the guy's credit, he did worked on both Botkai (that silly GBA game were you had to go out on a sunny day to play it right) and ZOE. However, you said "made", and I'm ignorant of what criteria you used for that ("scenario writer" and "director", or "producer") term, I'm afraid.

Also, I think we should wait to see if HE gets involved, and what his concepts are going to be. We already knew that the saga WAS going to continue (a fact we were all ready for), and it happened. Still, the fact he said "I have some concepts planned" doesn't means "Snake is coming back". Perhaps its the beginning of a whole new mess, or something else.

After all, MGS5 doesn't necessarily means that Snake is back. It only means it's meant to happen in the MGS universe.

As protective as Kojima is of his series, especially the canon, he would've said "I already got the concept/idea for a new or a different MG game."

But he didnt. He straight up said "MGS5".
