I wouldn't mind it. A 360 is more appealing to me than a PS3, even with MGS4 being a PS3 exclusive. If MGS4 were to go to the 360, then I'd be sold. ;D
It'll probably be a while before they figure out how to put on the 360 what they barely managed to pull off on the PS3.

What demand, where? The game is old news at this point. And even more important, they would have to reconfigure MGO as well. They're not even getting it right on the current set up!
The issue here is would it be worth it? If the game came on both systems at the same time, then yes. But at this point MGS4 isn't really "news". Most have played it already, at least by renting or playing at a friend's house. It would take some money and time to reconfigure MGS4 and MGO for the 360, there are a lot of changes to consider. I can't imagine it would be worth it.

www.mcvuk.com/news/32048/360-can-handle-MGS4-says-MicrosoftIt's "quasi official" (to put in perspective, its as official as Payton's PR shenanigans): the 360 can handle MGS4. It seems, from the looks of it, that in case MGS4 is ported, it won't be including MGO (every PS3 fan deserves a little consolation prize, I suppose). However, it could always come in yet ANOTHER DVD-Rom, lol. www.mcvuk.com/news/31242/E3-08-MGS4-on-360-impossible-says-SonyYes. Jack Tretton's comments, at least from the Microsoft side, ended up being completely PR bogus. What PR piece is right? Your pick, I guess.

I still don't think it would be worth it for Konami. The game has to have changes made directly in it as there are sevearl direct PlayStation references, so no simple port there. Graphics changed, controls altered, some voice acting re-recorded. Pricy! To make those changes for a game that no longer has any hype... seems silly. They already invested a lot of money in making it a PS3 exclusive. Now they would spend MORE money to port it? Doubt the sales will be that great IF it happens. BTW, given the size of MGS4, how many disks would it take to run on the Xbox 360? I'm just curious. I'm not an expert on the matter but, MGS4 filled a full 50GB BR disc. A Double-sided/double-layer DVD can hold 15.9 GB. That's the absolute max for a DVD and I'm assuming they will go all out and get the max for this. Mathematically that works out to 3.14 disks needed for the port. Let's say the edit a few things out... you'll still need AT LEAST 3 disks. So depending on what DVD they are willing to shell the cash out for, it'll be between 3 and 7 disks needed for MGS4. Is it worth it to have to spend the money to edit the actual game, re-record voice acting, and then print and release 3 disks for a game that is no longer new? I don't think so. Not to mention it would be a rather emberrasing release for the Xbox, seeing all those disks (and probably with missing content) as opposed to a single disk for the PS3. It'll make that Otacon disk-swapping joke even more relivant in regards to a compeditor, and not just a PSone reference. electronics.howstuffworks.com/dvd3.htm

Take in mind they can compress the hell out of it too, but two double layerd DVDs at least (Microsoft don't want three discs either BTW).
But the thing is, and what I'm curious about, is how the 360 fanboys will react when (IF) they finally get MGS4. Will they brag about it and try and upset PS3 owners, or will they shut the hell up because the game sounds and looks noticeably worse?

Well, here's the thing. Will the changes be noticable? You would notice the audio difference IF you have a good sorround sound set up. If not, I doubt you will notice much. Graphics... will the even need to compress it? Games are about even graphically on both systems I think. If it happens I doubt the changes will be that noticable.
But I still don't think they can do less then 3 disks.
