So a long while back (before MGS3 was 'out') the Konami MG site had some sort of feedback/suggestion page where you could submit feedback on the series and give a suggestion or two for the next game. I'm not 100% sure if it was for 'suggestions' but I know it was a feedback page.
anyway: I sent in a letter explaining my many reasons for loving MG and I told them a neat move I used do in my computer chair... I would spin around and pretend to shoot using the recoil of my gun to hop from each enemy to the next...low and behold in MGS3 EVA did this same exact move...Snake goes to say "something something I've never seen that from the West".
What are the chances they happen to think of that same move when I messaged them the same technique? Didn't Kojima say he wasn't going to be involved in MGS3 and when he saw how the team was doing the game he jumped in and changed it? I'm thinking one of the previous developers/writers/whatever just picked up that idea out of the suggestion/feedback grab bag and used it, Kojima liking the idea kept it in...who knows!
Just thought I'd finally share this.

Heh, well if so, good. Just tells you that Kojima cares about his audience. He did back then, he does right now (well, maybe).
