Series return?

So over the years, there had been series that have come and gone... and never to be heard from again.

Which series, thats been forgotten, do you think should make a return to the current console era [and not suck)?

For me, it'd had to be the Legacy of Kain series. If theres one video game storyline I put over Metal Gear, it's gotta be this; most specifically the Soul Reaver branch of the series.

Id be more than happy if they just made remakes os SR1 and SR2, doesnt necessarily have to be a SR3. Or it could be another prequel, Blood Omen 3. Anything! The series has so much room for a new story, and given its history, a new game would be awesome (if the same people worked on it).

The only time I played a Kain game was on the original PSone demo disk where I was introduced to MGS1. Never could get out of that water/cave...

Oh god yes. The original Kid Icarus is one of my fav NES games. Nintendo hinted at a game being made for the Wii last year, but we havent heard anything about it since! Though i dont see how you can bring that into 3D without f...ckin it up. Unless they keep it 2D like that new Wii Super Mario Bros game.

Banjo Kazooie? I honestly don't remember any good series from when I played games as a kid that would be worthwhile for returning, but that's probably because I played my PS2/64 when I was really young.

I still want a Kid Icarus game, and please make it somewhat cartoony, but not overly so. This is one of the only good classic game that I know of that didn't have a sequel. I mean he was a part of that Nintendo show "Captain N and the Game Masters", and with enemies like Medusa and the Eggplant Wizard, why not bring them all back?
